Where are the 2009 cards?
I received a gold status match from Delta on Feb 8. My account is updated with the GM status, but still no card. Just wondering how long it takes before I get my 2009 GM card.
Does anyone have the 2009 card yet? I got my CO gold card two weeks ago. Just wondering when Delta sends them out.
Looking for some input to see if there is an email address or number to call NW to see if they can speed up the process for status match (faxed a week ago). Got a couple of transpacs in 3 weeks and I would hate to not get 2x RDM
Does anyone have any updates on LAN Status Matching?
Other than the one sucessful report, are most still getting no response?
LAN will eventually contact but it takes time. Mine took five+ reminder emails and five weeks to complete.
Based on my experience (and others who were successful), your LAN status match request success will be based on one important factor:
Evidence (in flight reservations) that shows LAN that you are (and will) fly with them post status match. Of course, you need to provide evidence on your current status with another airline (equivalent to what you are requesting for status at LAN) and flight history. I'd think that sending a newly status matched status from Delta or NW or UA with no history of flights won't work.
So, in short, with your status at another airline (competitor) and future reservations with LAN (PNR), you can be certain that LAN will match your status (of course, it does take time, but some people have been lucky that the waiting period was shorter than mine).
LY update:
Currently (March/09) running a promo where you get 1:1 matching (plat to plat etc) PLUS bonus points PLUS if you earn enough points you get more bonus points.

DL updates their Medallion system on Friday night/Saturday morning. Check your SkyMiles account on Saturday to see if there's been any change. If not, send DL an email via the contact link on the homepage.
Top Plat will get LY top plat + 500 points.
Plat will get LY plat for 6 month + 300 points
Gold -> LY Gold + 200 points
After 6 months:
top plat that made 4000 points will get 300 points + top plat status for another year
plat that made 2000 points will get 200 + extension
gold that made 750 will get 100 + extension

If you're not yet LY Matmid member and you flew with either British Airways, Turkish Airlines, Continental , Delta or LH more then twice, you can be eligible to free registration directly to LY silver + 100 points, and after 6 month, if you made 400 points, you get 100 bonus + extension.
Will match status, usually to a lower tier (e.g. CO Plat to Matmid Gold) than one's current status with another carrier.
To apply for a match you must already have an El Al Matmid number. Fax a copy of your elite status card & the last two months of your FF account statements, showing flights and points to:
El Al will stop matching status by March 10th.
By the way - the upgrade into the same tier as the other airline.

You dont have to requalify as usual. They challange you.
For Example: If you match towards GOLD status, you will have to gain 750 points within 6 month in order to get the status for 1 more year.

Did you get your match? I sent in mine about a week ago and just called the main Worldperks service number, spoke with a rep and she called someone to track it. She said they had everything they needed and it would take up to 4 weeks. The last person I talked to said 14 business days . I love that, even thought everyone on this forum knows all about it, it's still for the most part a super-secret-squirrel process. I have a flight to Nicaragua on Friday... I sure am hoping they match me by then!
