Mine finally posted a couple of days ago, conveniently a day after the second monthly fee posted. I emailed for a refund and cancellation and received an affirmative response half an hour later.

After sending an email to customer support and a couple of exchanges (they were getting error messages while trying to post the miles to my account), the 2,000 miles just posted. Apparently they were typing my last name incorrectly.

Before I send a friend on this chase anew, is it still working - e.g., miles - for people who've signed up after the original miles-earning deadline was dropped? (Not expressing any issue - it worked fine for me ... In fact, I recently got an email saying, "We miss you already".) Thank you.

This worked great. Miles hit my account a day or two after card got charged...way earlier than expected! I was impatient and had just wasted 10k ihg on a transfer to get the 2k miles earlier...c'est la vie.
