Up to 20,000 Asia Miles when you buy The Economist subscription
If anyone needs miles in that program:
https://subscriptions.economist.com/...joi/asiamiles/
20K for three years of print + digital
10K for one year print + digital
if you want just one year print or one year digital, they'll give you 8K for that subscription.

A three year Asian subscription costs over $700, not a good value for 20k miles ($400 @ .02/mile which might be generous).
One year regular rate in the USA is $225 so I guess its not a terrible rate, but you can book it on Amazon.com for just $130.
I booked the Economist on Groupon two years back for less than $100. Might be worth checking for those deals too.

Love the Economist. I got a subscription for a year back when the Spirit 8K promotion came out - remember the 'say something bad about us for 8K free Spirit miles' promo? I took those and turned them into several Economist subscriptions. Worth it.

I got myself an Economist subscription in January this year, opting to earn Etihad Guest miles. It's now July and the miles still haven't posted to my account. I must have contacted the Economist a dozen times by now, and they always apologise and "escalate it to the relevant department", but nothing ever happens. I'm baffled at the incompetence, frankly.

The digital only based in Canada sounds like a pretty sweet deal though...

What's weird about this is that usually, the longer the subscription, the better the offer
in this case
1 year - 155CAD - 10k AM = 1.55cpm
3 year - 384CAD - 20k AM = 1.92cpm
or digital/print only:
1 year - 120CAD - 8k AM = 1.5cpm
3 year - 305CAD - 15k AM = 2.03cpm
odd.

Yes but the pricing is less per year if you take the 3 year subscription.
That's probably why less miles are offered

I've never been to the new world, but I expect I'll be able to change the delivery address later on.
