Some of us can't just stream. If you don't have access to high speed unlimited internet you need a TV service. I pay for a T1 line at my home because I rely on it for my job, it costs $300/mo. I can't see any of my neighbors being able to invest in something like this. At least for me it is a tax deductible expense, for them it would be cost prohibitive. Most have cellular 3G hotspots or a dish internet that caps you well below any good level for streaming.
