"rewards for thoughts" is another avios survey partner. You get 600 avios after your first survey. In practise, it appears you do a few minor surveys about yourself, before actually getting a survey.
On the up-side, the avios go directly into your avios.com account, no need to claim them or transfer them from an intermediary account.

I have the Hotspot VPN on my laptop (to be able to access hulu and netflix outside of the US) and you can easily switch to a UK IP address.
When I forget to the switch to UK IP I get an error message from e-rewards. If I switch to UK IP and click on the email link again it works perfectly.
