"Earn 1.75% cash back rewards on purchases in Canadian dollars and 4% cash back rewards on purchases made in a foreign currency."
So basically, 1.5% cashback if you account for their FX fee, which still isn't too bad.
Can anyone find out where it shows that they are charging 2.5% FX now?

I called BW and they said the points would come in the statement after the check - so I'm assuming if you don't get it by your 4th statement, call in again. They were definitely aware of the promo and said my account was in order and I'd receive them though, so I'm just playing the waiting game still.
Re my comment... It turns out that I mixed up a couple of hotel chains... please disregard what I wrote.

I called them today as well as only 40,000 points have posted. Assuming one has spent the required $2,000 she said the first 20K comes after the first purchase, the second 20k after $1,000 spend and the third 20k comes at the 3 month mark regardelss of when you made the subsequent $1,000 spend. I guess we'll wait and see.

I spent the $2k the first week. The rep said the final 20k posted at the end of the 3 month period in case of returns, etc. I got the 40k after the first statement (last week). I guess I'll see if the remaining 20k post next month or not.

I was told on the phone that first 20k come immediately (after first purchase), rest comes at 3rd statement. I'm still waiting for that, got another month to go, I have the 20k though.

I just received an email from Aeroplan.com. It says "congratulations, you just earned your 5,000 welcome bonus miles."
It looks as the bonus was from the AMEX AeroplanPlus card (The blue one) but I haven't had this for years and had not applied for one. Could it be possible that someone accidentally entered my Aeroplan # during their application?
