20,000 Marriott points for $75, good deal or no?

I recently signed up for the Chase Marriott card, no min spend 50,000 points and $75 statement credit. Chase agreed to upgrade me to the 70k point offer (current) but said they would remove the $75 credit.

Should I accept this deal? What is the accepted value per point of these?

Thanks in advance.

Probably a good deal. I think the points are worth twice that much depending how you use them.

20k could get you a room worth more. I'd take it.

I value MR points at a penny each. You are getting $200 in points for $75. Take it!

I also take the points and try to redeem before May to get the best out of that. Redeeming 1 night stay at CAT 4 hotels on weekday (usually Monday) has more value on weekend days.

Thanks all for the feedback. I thought this was a no brainer but wanted your veteran opinions to confirm. I will accept the offer.
