Need Advise on planning on Tahiti Trip Summer 2013 or 2014
We are planning for a trip to Tahiti either 2013 or 2014 summer. We are one couple and one 4-5 yrs old (by then) boy.
We are thinking of visiting three islands - tahiti, moorea and bora bora.
Any suggestion on what I should start to prepare, like what cards to apply and what points to collect?
For flights, it has to be AA or Delta? Which alliance can be used for trans-island tickets?
For lodge, we would like to book some over water bunglows. Is Hilton Hhonors easier or SPG or any other hotel program easier to use and to upgrade to OWB?
Thanks for any suggestion!

No alliance gets you the intra-islands for free....moorea is cheap and easy, bb will cost you.
There are 4 ICs in FP. Get the PC visa, learn the cash and points by searching the IHG Forum and you can make Bora Bora affordable. Hilton points won't do quite as much

I'm planning a similar trip in 2013. subscribing to follow.
I've been told:
you + your husband/wife
both get PC visa, Chase Sapphire, Amex MR cards..
get as many PC points as you can. Intercontinental on Moore = 30K/nt, BB = 50K/nt.
