I didn't order for resale. ~10% sales tax (here in WA), ~10% fees (ebay & paypal), ~10% selling discount, ~6% for time, hassle, effort, etc. would make my cost roughly 1 cent. I suppose if you lived in a state without sales tax and found items that sell for close to retail on ebay you could get the cost down to 0.5 cents. I couldn't get the math to work for me though.

According to other posts for similar issues (meaning I'm not 100% sure that BA does it), you would be wrong. You'll end up with a negative balance. At some point they'd ask/force you to pay to buy miles to get your balance back up to 0.

All 2/10 purchases still show as 12x only here. They've been on the account since yesterday. Earlier when I made purchases on another household account the second and third 12x bonuses all showed up at the same time as the original 12x. So this delay is worrisome, I must say.

I bought some valentines gifts on 2/3 and my purchases show 24x points. Not too worried since I have dealt with Estore point issues before and BA was really good at crediting them afterwards.

I'm getting pretty worried too. only got 24x for the 2/10 purchase. Hopefully we dont have to wait all 40 days and start contacting them before the rest of the points post

My buddy who ordered on Feb 10 just got his 24x bonus today for a total of 36x.
Still only 24x for me for my Feb 6 order (but the $300 mens suit I ordered is really nice)! Just happy to get more than 12x since it was a second order.

So a bunch of stuff came today, mainly for my wife. Some stuff doesn't fit, some she didn't like. I have four returns in total (two dresses, a pair of boots, and a pair of jeans). According to Nordstrom.com, exchanges are processed as return and sale, which I assume means the original miles will be lost (can someone confirm?).
What's the best approach here? Obviously we're not going to keep stuff that doesn't fit or we don't like, but for two of the items we just need a different size, and for the other two my wife would love a gift card that she can go crazy in the store with. How do I accomplish that, AND get to keep my Avios?
