About to Purchase Non-Contract (ie Full Price) iPhone 4 or 3GS- Best Mileage Earning?
Apologies if this is the wrong forum. I am about to purchase a new iPhone - I don't mind who the vendor is, but just looking to earn the maximum amount of miles through a shopping portal. Any airline would be fine, but UA, CO, US or AA would be preferable.

If anyone made an Apple purchase recently and found a good mileage bonus deal, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd wait on the Apple purchase as rumors are swirling that a new device (iPhone 5 or 4s) is due in sept/oct. Even if you don't want the new version, it will surely push the prices on the 4 and 3Gs downward.

It's a Co. expense so it's not an issue. My current iPhone 3 is on the brink of death and won't make it another 8-12 weeks. Need one ASAP.

Get a new one for 5 bucks, lot of info on the internet (I did mine )

I'd read a few things that made me think it wasn't possible to DIY it. If you have a good reliable link to instructions you could point me to, I'd be grateful.

If it's just speed that's the issue, have you done a factory restore? It might just be all the apps/data/crap you have on there that's making it slow.
