If you're not willing to take the risk, that's fine -- but don't gripe if we get the miles and you don't.

Who said anything about griping? P.S - I earned 1.2 million Delta miles on the Suntrust deal. I understand act now think later (which is why I am still checking this thread and pondering )

I get the $135 when i put 3 in there, but I also get this at the top:

"Criteria for ****** promotion were not met; no discount was applied."

And the *** really are there in the message...i didn't put in any code though.

thoughts?

I just dont see them honoring this since there is the discrepancy.

But for whoever is brave enough to try, good for you

I have never eshopped before. I ordered one because I need one anyway and the deal is worth fighting for.
I do not see anything in my transactions on Aadvantage Eshopping. When do at least the transaction post so you even know you ordered correctly.
It takes to to verizon web page and order was confirmed there.

Can't bring myself to pull the trigger, even with AMEX (What if miles don't post within 90 days?) Penny wise, pound foolish perhaps.

Clicking on the product goes to the product detail page where it says 13 miles estimated. Seems to be an obvious mistake, and since the AA shopping portal actually does list the lower point value on their site under the product description I doubt they honor this.

Confirmed. I just did a little early birthday and Christmas present shopping.

I don't really expect the miles to post (other than the 1755 that appear on the product information page), but this is a risk worth taking and would be one heck of a boost to my AA mileage account!

In for one. Thinking about another. I was part of the Booking Buddy error with the US Airways shopping mall and it worked out for me. Man do I love flyertalk!

I've never ordered anything from AA Shopping but pulled the trigger on one.

In your experience, what is the typical lag time for the miles to hit the account? We talking weeks or months from the purchase?
