The policy doesn't say that. The quote is:
4.2 Forfeiting Starpoints. Except for SVO Owners to whom the obligations in Section 9 apply, Starpoints earned or otherwise obtained by an SPG Member will forfeit without notice if the SPG Member becomes Inactive, even if the SPG Member has achieved SPG Lifetime Gold or SPG Lifetime Platinum status. An SPG Member is considered Inactive if during a 12 month period: (a) the SPG Member has not had an Eligible Stay at an SPG Participating Hotel; (b) the SPG Member has not earned or redeemed any Starpoints, or (c) the SPG Members account has been cancelled.

As succinctly explained by StarwoodLurker, the official SPG rep on this board:
Any Starpoints activity resulting from earning or redeeming will now count towards keeping an account active.

Is There a Link On Here for PointsPlay?
Hi-
How often do these come out? I get the questions in a Delta email. Can I answer more questions at Audience Rewards and get the points to my Delta account?

My question is. I went to the link in the email below Points Play and it took me to the Audience Rewards website, I think it is called. They have a ton of question on that website in many categories. If I answer questions from any one of those areas do they send the points to Delta too? I have been a member of this website and have answered various questions from it.
Does anybody know if there are certain questions on Audience Rewards if one answers correctly, the points will go to Delta too. I see I have added some points in my profile for the website, but I do not think those correct answers from the website ever made it to Delta, but I thought maybe certain questions might.
What is "SPG?"
Thanks.
