Bank Direct Site down all afternoon
Is anyone else having trouble or is it just me?

No wonder I couldn't log in since an hour ago until I had to send a reminder e-mail for my password because I thought I forgot my password.

It is reported in the BD thread in AA forum.
I have not even tried my first log in with the temp things they sent a few weeks ago. Am planning to do so this weekend and then the website is down.

Maybe they are down for maintenance; Sunday 7/3. Quiet night and not too many people would be checking their balances. Just a guess.

It's still down, has this ever happened before? I wonder if our Miles would be messed up this month.

Yeah - increasing problems over there.
Last month, miles were late.
They've recently adopted much harsher rules (which they generally don't publicize) about how to qualify for their bonuses.
Of course, a few months ago, they cut big savers out of big earnings.
No end to the downward trend here.

Hopefully, they've updated their website security. FYI, don't use a password on bankdirect's website that's used elsewhere.

Just got my account set up there. My god, what a cluster####. Worst banking site ever! Non-functional, crippled, unintuitive, user unfriendly... It wouldn't surprise me at all if the clueless individuals responsible for that monstrosity left a trail littered with security holes.
