I think the question you meant to ask is, "Does BA charge YQ for redemptions on LAN?"

And the answer is, "No"; not even for TATL travel.

Has anyone who previously received a Chase 100K BA bonus received this bonus also ?
It seems like no so far but would be great to hear from someone who fell through the cracks...

And just to be a bit more specific,,, you can only get Milesaver awards with the BA miles. NOT Anytime awards.

Yes, you can use the miles for AA but no, the miles cannot be combined with your AA miles.

May have been mentioned before, but how about one world awards? Should work with no prob since they are One World, and take same amount of miles?

Can somebody please answer this? Thanks!

How exactly is waiting 5 days going to benefit you? Are you expecting some good changes in your credit report?

Nope, I am guessing I last applied for a Chase card on Mar 1, so it'll be exactly two months after that on May 1. Do you think it's better to apply right now (in case I have to call them to move around credit, etc) ?

BA currently charges YQ only on AA TATL flights, and AA flights to/from Asia. Hard to say if/when BA would impose YQ on AA domestic flights, or those to/from Central/South America or the Caribbean. But currently, those flights are YQ-free on award travel.
What is YQ, some kind of oversized fees for award tickets?

How much are we talking about here for a TATL from SFO?

The abbreviation for fuel surcharges.

In Y - $362 + fees
In C - $608 + fees
In F - $608 + fees

Also, BA has announced increases to YQ due to rising prices. In the past, whenever YQ was hiked due to a price hike, it never went down when prices reduced.

Hmm, so you get this card, spend almost $3500 and get the 100k miles and if you find a first or business award, you get to pay about another $1000 in fees and surcharges?
