I wonder if you can combine this with the referral bonus of 10,000 points
Yes you can! I received an e-mail from them stating so recently... though to be specific they stated that the referred users can get 20,000 points total, not 25,000
HoW many do you need for an award flight on jetblu?
Theoretically, 10,000. It ranges though. You can check out on jetblue.com where you don't have to be a member to find out how much a flight would cost you in points (not sure whether its normal or award ticket through that method).
Dang! 3 nights ago I just got approved for the TrueBlue Amex BUSINESS card but for only 20k miles after the $500 spend. I thought it was a good deal b/c the site was only showing 10k miles for the personal card.
This offer is clearly better. Just applied for it and got the "processing application" thing so I'm sure I'm denied. Probably too many credit apps recently.

Is this RT? Sorry for basic info, but I never fly Jetblue.
Points are worth between .7-1.3 cents each, depending on the award. The expiry is less of an issue if you keep the card (and have any earning on it at all); then they never expire.
There's a decent discussion of this promo going on over in the JetBlue forum as well.
Either way, getting ~$250 in points for a $40 annual fee is pretty solid. Combining it with my other decent balance this is a good deal.

Ex: DCA-BOS, 5,200 points = 10.4k round trip, which isn't bad if you need to do multiple trips, you can get 2 RTs and almost a 1 o/w. Chances of finding a low reward from JFK/IAD/BOS to the caribbean is rare and has to be low season. Most of the time it is 14k-40k points each way for these rewards so the point valuation is kind of Also IAD-LGB is a popular route for B6 out of the east and the lowest I've found is 11.8k each way, so basically your bonus points only covered 1 west coast trip. Chances are even on a weekday you'll only get that low point cost one way and your return may be 2x as much. Basically look at this as a chance to get 1 trip that is reasonable to Bermuda, PR, or DR. PLS, not a chance! This is if you're lucky .
I'm still considering getting the card though with consideration that I reside in DCA and BOS
Could I get the 25K miles and then use them for a 25K mile award on AA? It seems JetBlue vaules their miles differently. Do they have "real" partners? i couldn't find award charts on their site for partners.

Stuck in a non-JetBlue city.
+1, I don't see anything about redemptions on JetBlue on aa.com ,so I guess its vice-versa. can someone confirm?
I received notice this morning that my pending application for the PERSONAL TRUEBLUE AMEX was APPROVED!!!
SCORE - I got the business AND personal!!
I think that's the first time I've ever had a credit card app go to the "processing" status for 7-10 days and get approved. SWEET!
