Flying to Franfurt With Check Luggage - Arrivals Lounge?

Hi All - flying to Frankfurt tomorrow and have to wait for a colleague who is arriving 3 hours later. I have checked baggage, but would love to spend this time in a *A lounge. Is there any option to do so?

Thanks in advance.

Only if you arrive on LH in FRA. If yes, you can wait in the lounge airside. Any luggage that is not claimed at the carousel is kept nearby at the lost and found for a few hours before they start processing it as lost baggage.

This would be perfect except I am flying with a guitar so I can't just let it sit there.

Too bad.

You could ask the lounge attendant to call baggage and keep it on hold. If she/he can't call down, then you have to go down...

Just *G is not enough to get into FRA LH lounge on arrival with no connecting *A flight. Flying C/F or having a SEN card would work fine. I am not sure about UA RCC policy there.

Just saw the new LH arrival lounge. It is landside, near baggage exit B2, opening hours 5:30-12:30.

Did you actually see it in operation? It was reported in another thread that the lounge would open on 29th January.

I was hoping to check it out in a couple of weeks but since my flight doesn't arrive until the afternoon it would be no use.

Answered over there. But seems to be open already. Especially as there was a sign in the hall B as well!

The sign was already there, when I posted it. The doors were open, so I could see inside and they seemed to be nearly ready. I asked and they told me the official opening is Jan the 29th. Don't know if they have a soft opening.

Arriving in FRA yesterday morning and departing on Airail to Cologne I was told at the SEN lounge that the arrivals lounge would not be open yet so I should use the SEN lounge instead.

Asking at a LH service desk in the center section in B resulted in the statement of the staff that there would be no such thing as an arrivals lounge. So, the information that the arrivals lounge will open soon has not even made it yet to some of the LH staff.
