The M&M website has changed once again. Now it's back to award miles only. I really don't understand why they keep changing it.

...and it's back to status miles & HON circle once more... my 30 March LCY-LUX hasn't shown up on my mileage account yet, so fingers crossed.
In K (which LG regulars know is a very useful booking class and used for the "Flex" carnets), you now get 750 miles per segment, which is very welcome news, too. (Although I used to collect 750 award miles coming from LCY anyway - segments showed up as "Y" in M&M, for reasons unclear. LUX-LCY segments were "K" = 500 award miles).
As for mileage runs on LG, look no further than SCN-somewhere cheap via LUX. Two segments. Say no more. On the other hand, there's only so many minutes one can kill reading Flydoscope

Yep, it's gone. So are all of its perks, except lounge access, which is now open to anyone who's done one return in C to East Asia on *A.
LG "status matched" me to FTL, which I hold anyway. To their credit, they status matched me twice, once in French and once in German. I got two (2) lovely new FTL cards, with different numbers, one with a French and one with a German cover letter. Also, the PIN letter was in German for one card, and in French for the other. All of my three FTL cards are in my full name, and addressed to my address in Luxembourg. I fact, the "new" cards arrived on the very same day. None of the "new" cards take account of any LG flight in 2009. Oh well, nevermind that my LG and LH flights in 2008 combined would have made me SEN rather easily (I just missed out on LH).
Also, the quick check-in machines at LUX no longer accept Miles & More as a valid FFP. This seems to be a mistake, though. Staff at LUX were surprised when told on Friday, and reacted in the usual way - "You have to look harder", the lovely lady told me, only to retreat to "I think someone should inform management" when she actually made the trek to the machines and had a "harder look" for herself. Well, "someone" might (God forbid she'd have to do it herself). I'm not holding my breath though, given that none of my LCY-LUX flights in 2009 have posted to any of my three FTL accounts, despite that I visited the check-in desk at LCY to add the M&M number to the boarding pass (the kiosk would not accept M&M, and the fact that the account number was in the booking was of no help).
As you might have guessed, I am more than a little angry. Then again, I'm lucky to have a travel pattern that gives me a choice out of LUX, which is a bit of an exception for LUX. I fly to London and back, and VLM and BA ain't so bad. I'm still on LG where the schedule suits me better, but since there will never be any meaningful recognition of customer loyalty on LG, I do no longer prefer LG, as used to be the case. LG, after a brief period of getting their act together under new management, have slipped back into their old "we've got a captive market, let's not care" attitude. Pity.
Absolutely. When I have time, I prefer driving to BXL or FRA or Metz-Nancy to catch flights
The "let's not care" attitude is really sometimes frustrating !
I can't agree. I have travelled many times with Luxair in the last years and have never experienced the "let's not care" attitude. Especially the Cabin Staff does an exceptional job on the many short flights the airline operates I haven't been on a single C-Class flight from LUX-FRA-LUX this year without getting a drink refill and that is on a 30min flight. The ground handling staff at other stations is an exception often unfriendly and unprofessonal personal but that also happens with LH and other carriers. I agree the transfer from the Courtesy Card to Miles&More could have been smoother but I just returned my second Miles and More Card and kept the SEN Card no big deal.

To clarify my thoughts, above a few lines I wrote on this topic.
LG is top in the air (staff, planes, food, etc.) but terrible on the ground (Management, Marketing, back-office, etc.).
I always enjoy being in the air with LG. But as soon as you need something slightly different (let's say a copy of an invoice, a special meal for a child, etc.), please be prepared to anger and frustration !
