I need to fly 3 times LX, or LH intercontinental return trips in First Class between 1st Feb and 30th April to get 45k bonus miles. Needless to say I won't make it.

They usually talk about status miles and also only use this as basis for the calculations (considering all other promo restrictions of course). I'm sorry to disappoint you, but for award flights you will earn exactly zero status miles.

I am really upset... seems you guys get the all time promotions from LH... I'm a SEN since last Sept. and don't get anything!!!
Still, have to do all the usual claiming of miles for every third flight as they are never credited!!... Is it because it's Switzerland and not Germany??????

@ Tribolet: I haven't received any targeted promos in quite a while as well... Swiss used to be a source of great promos, but that seems to have dissappeared (another M&M enhancement?). Locationwise Germany seems to be the best if numbers of targeted promos recieved counts and of course flying often in expensive booking classes. The company taking best care of its very frequent flyers (events) is Austrian Airlines IMHO.
I saw the focus schule promotion, you get some miles if you
gift a mini abo and ordered it.
It said no cancellation neccesary.
Now I received a new bill, and when I call they said I should have
canceled it!
Please reply if the same happened to you or if you have copied

Focus Schule was definitely speculating that reader maybe fall in love with their magazine or forget to unsubscribe - I'm sorry to hear that you are part of the second group. Not much you can do about it though now other than canceling it for the next possible date.
Just write them a letter that you don't accept the extension and don't pay the bill. If they attempt to withdraw money from your account, tell your bank to reverse it. Got out of a few nasty subscriptions this way. Even the pesky PVZ Stockelsdorf couldn't do anything.
Just read on the T-Mobile M&M page that there will be again a "Frühjahrs" (Spring) promotion from March 1 until April 30, 2008. No details given but probably similar to last years one with some 5k extra Miles.
