Miles on Tour

Also got the promo in the mail (btw: they are using a new transparent plastic envelope). For me it's three intra-European round trips in Business Class for 6,000 miles.
Not gonna make it

I thought receiving a personal letter was targetted enough!?

huh???

Yep, I had the same problem. I finally gave up and faxed it....

The redemption rates are better though - in some cases by a factor of two (not to mention miles + cash).
And W mileage earning is the same on both for the budget minded folks...

same here. And it was the same in the past, with the Shopping promo. Looks like a general glitch - or was anyone able to register online?

Many thanks for the overview on new promos ... very useful!

I could register for quite a few. However, the link for "Miles on Tour" did not lead to a site where I could register (even when substituting the XXXXXXXXX with my 9digit M&M number). Do you have another link?

I could not register for "Worldtrip" and "Runway", though.

Many thanks again

It depends... you get many more miles with bmi than with LH for cheap intra-European LX flights, for example. But it's not the earning side of bmi that is so interesting:

I can't agree enough on this - with bmi, you may earn less miles on paper, but each mile is so much more valuable that it's well worth the LH miles you're missing.

I definitely plan to keep playing the bmi game until it is dead. And after that, a major strategy re-evaluation will follow, especially if LH continues to make it harder and harder for those who are not travelling on a sturdy expense account.

My Target for 'Private Flight'

Receive 12.000 additional award miles if you earn 40.000 status miles between 1-Oct and 30-Nov. That's a real challenge based on my flying pattern for this period!

Confirmed. For me it worked. 15k miles for 42k status miles. Already banked in.

Asstel - Buy risk life insurance for your child. I played a little bit around with the Asstel tool. If you buy risk life insurance for a three year old girl you pay 1.80 a month. For 60 month and 50k Euro coverage (minimum to get 10k miles) this costs 108 Euro....

Received the plastic envelope: 6500 extra miles for 10 return flights with LH/LX/OS inside Europe between 1st/Oct and 31st/Dec .

Register in www.miles-and-more.com/tour.

This means flying practically every week with the a.m. airlines except during x'mas.

No chance, up to mid September I have flown 7/8 times within Europe in LH/Swiss, how I am going to achieve 10 in 3 months? On top I have 2 intercontinental trips which would not count.

I consider that this unreachable targets create the opposite effect, at least for me. I am so unhappy with this crazy proposition that I am going to fly less with them and look offers arround with skyteam.

For me its 5k promo miles for 12 of these flights - they must be kidding.... Last time my target was 7 of these flights for 4k miles, and I only made 6 of them..... I would have supposed them to decrease the target instead of increasing so much...... thats a bit unrealistic.
