Maybe bacause you have (a) too many miles and (b) you are located in the US. At least this is my situation. I haven't seen any promotion for ages now.

I am US based and I keep getting this 15000 miles for an intercont. RT in paid F "promotion" three years in a row now...

I also received the "World Trip" offer of 12,500 additional award miles for 3 intercontinental round-trips on scheduled flights operated by Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines or LOT Polish Airlines, between 1 October and 31 December, 2008. The "Miles on Tour" promotion that SmilingBoy mentioned is for 4 round-trip flights between European countries.

At least you have LH service to USA. Typically my personalised promos are fly 3 round trip intercontinental F or C trips. The nearest destination served by LH is 10 hours flying away.
