Hope this helps!

1000 Miles per 1000 Euro investment in selected pioneer fonds at comdirect.

The fonds are sold with a discount of 80% for the issue surcharge, which means (simplified) costs of 1 Cent per miles.

I can't see any lilmit. Promotion period is till 15.05.2008, fonds are not to be sold within this period!

Question magic number 619

There is also a targeted promotion going on currently called "Die magische Zahl 619" (magic number 619) - however I don't find any signup link. Let me know if you can help.

Cheers!

Is there a link available? I've got a flight to vienna next week!

The mileage earning limit is seems to be the money that you can invest (i.e. you can earn as much miles as you have money in Euros - in increments of 1000). Also you have to be comdirect customer for this promotion. The "risky" part is that your investments are in fonds based on shares or bonds, so they will fluctuate up (win) or down (loss). I guess I'll pass on this one

In earlier promotions (click) with buying investment funds it was quite interesting. This time, however, the conditions are not that good, so it is probably only interesting for those who are interesting in such investment anyway (with 80% discount on the issue charges).

For those considering to register with comdirect: I just read in the customer magazine, that starting from 15 April till end of May a referrer receives 50 Euro new-customer-premium (not yet online).

Looks like the 1,000 are only awarded, if you subscribe after the one free issue! That's how I read it!

@ rampant: you're right - I only read it on miles-and-more.com (link) where you can understand it differently. My fault

It is still a good offer. Remember Comdirect offers a further 30% cashback on the 1% or 0.8% premium you pay if you keep certain amounts with them. The Pioneer Funds - Euro Convergence Bond is a low risk bond investment fund and is not really volatile. Considering the cashback the premium for that product is 0.528%. Not considering the limited short term opportunities and risks of that product (which are immanent to any investment product), 528 Euro für 100k tax free miles is not a bad deal if you have 100k Euro available for a month
