Am I blind not to spot it? Or is there a genuine problem?
2 rules of internet. People do not read and they do not like to scroll....

"The promotion code is only valid on the country version of www.lufthansa.com for which the promotion code has been issued "

Didn't ask them, but according to their terms & conditions (paragraph 26), the account can be closed at any time at no cost (you will be required to repay any debts to the bank immediately, of course).

I think I'll order it.

https://www.miles-and-more.com/promotionstart1

You could even win a trip (more details on their site).

Did the same, didn't receive mail or miles yet. A friend of mine who also has the LH credit card got an email and was asked to go through Post ID again all though he was told that he doesn't have to due to the existing LH credit card with them.

Members get Members

As some posters have mentioned the Members get Members promo has stopped, I just got this in the latest LH newsletter (I am based in HKG):

"Earn 2,000 awards miles by becoming a Miles & More member today

Not yet a member of Lufthansa’s frequent traveller programme Miles & More? We now offer new registrants 2,000 award miles via special promotional link below.

http://hongkong.lufthansa.com/ff/ch....0&vas=23106410

You are already a member?

Persuade your friend of the benefits of Miles & More. Both of you will receive 1,000 award miles each.
http://hongkong.lufthansa.com/ff/ch....0&vas=23106411
"
So Members get members is back :-)

There's nothing in the T&C to imply that - of which I am going to take advantage.

Strange quoting myself

Talked to LH SEN and they said the following;

Airtours - this is only for german based customers who booked with the company Airtours a C or F ticket long haul or TATL, Dep. ex germany will get 2000 award bonus miles, per round trip flight, a maximum of 8 flights. So no joy there BUT

there is a new promo coming up on 1st September. No info at the moment if its targeted or not but for requal its a whoozy!

Double status miles in C and F from 1 Sept till 30 October. Name of Promo "Recovery" They asked me to call back at the end of the week and they should then have the info

No surprise here, we knew that LH management has been discussing for quite some time what to do about the legions of elite customers losing their status due to the so-called crisis.

Personally, I could very well live w/o such "status presents". I'd rather prefer triple bonus miles.

I would agree, thanks to the crisis, I will easily requal without this offer, and triple bonus award miles would be sweet indeed! Don't suppose we can get LH to offer us something like that?
