- Registration is possible during the length of the promotion but not later than 30.09.2009.
- Miles will be credited for each scheduled flight operated by Lufthansa, SWISS or Austrian Airlines, up to a max. of 8 intercontinental flight segments.
- Outbound and return flights must take place during the promotional period.
- Registration is only necessary once and is valid for the entire promotional period.
- This offer may not be combined with any other Miles & More offer.
- The promotion applies to the following flights:

Just flew a few intercontinental segments recently...wonder if we get retro credit...

I suppose so, most promotions worked like that. As both legs have to be done till the 30.09, and you have to sign up by that day, signing up on the last day would otherwise mean no miles whatsoever.

Yep, my LX flights to GRU are also not included, but I am also not complaining about J tickets priced at 2000€. :-)

Maybe a stupid question, but what is "an intercontinental flight"? I see that OS flights to Middle East are listed, but I wonder whether LH flights to Central Asia would qualify (esp. since OS flights to this area are not listed)?

wouldn't it be neat to have access to a couple of hundred M&M accounts including PINs to shop online, book reward tickets (possible?), etc.?
I don't want to be too pessimistic but it's kind of weird no-one has seen the promotion until now and never so far one had to enter the PIN? I also have not found it among the special offers for earning miles at M&M - on the other hand, life's a gamble and the ways of LH marketing are mysterious....
Maybe LH IT should send out targeted e-mails to all registered customers to announce the need for PINs before asking for them online - just to make sure.

Saw that as well (and the source code of the page does not show any strange URLs - but not being a programming pro this may mean nothing).
Just meant my statement as a little warning in general and I still think it's completely unnecessary to ask for the PIN when registering for a (even non-targeted obviously) promotion.
