I flew CO yesterday and flying again today. It is nice product. One caveat, the video is not on-demand, so if you want to watch a movie and decide to pay 6USD, then make sure to do it immediately at beginning of the flight, otherwise you'll get into middle of the movie.

Lounge access was easy, np

If you paid 6USD , you were watching live television via DirectTV .

Actually they have 4 movie channels, where each channel was playing one dedicated movie. I thought that they could have put those 4 movie channels on demand, not as constant reel.

The 752s and the 772s have AVOD systems and sometimes are used domestically, the new 737s were getting retrofitted with livetv systems.
The older 737s and the 753s as well as the 767s all have the loop video which you mention.
What plane were you on ?
The cost for headsets on the all planes is usually 1 dollar, unless it is INTL, and the the Direct TV service is $6

I was on 737-800 and it was fitted with live Direct TV, but the 4 movie channels were really loop video. It was internal US flight, don't know the headset price, as I have my owns.

I was not doubting you, I was just confused . But now it makes sense, they have directTV and loop movies and I did not know that.

Checked into a downtown Chicago hotel (hotel #3 of the Mega DO) and was handed a complimentary bottle of mineral water with the label which reads: "xxxxxxx (name of the hotel) Welcomes Lufthansa Crew Members"

You need to be at least Platinum for a bottle of vodka.

New features when logged in on lh.com

Hey!

Not sure if discussed before but I just logged into my account on lh.com and see that the "manage my bookings" option has a couple of new features.

1. change seat assignment
2. change contact information
3. add visa and passport data (so far this was earliest possible during OLCI)
4. change FFP online (funny enough, you can enter a VARIG FFP number but not Continental, also Swiss Travel Club instead of M&M) Some programs are missing I believe!

to LH, this was due but hey, I am happy they allow it now.

Uh oh...it has been several days since andre1970 has posted to this thread. andre1970: are you out there? I was very concerned that you may have missed your flight.

Well, I saw him after you did then, since we walked back to the Sheraton together. andre1970 has a history of missing his flights, so I just wanted to know if he made his flight back to Athens from Frankfurt.
