This is still a secret so keep it to yourself. The day after tomorrow, a countdown for a very special offer will start on lufthansa.com that you would not want to miss. Make a note of Wednesday, 30 September 2009 in your diary - it will be worth your while. You can find out everything else from your Lufthansa Newsletter. You will be surprised...
Apologies this is not about a lounge but I'm posting it here despite the subject line of the email rather than starting a new thread. If it's going to be another disappointing 'special' offer it doesn't merit its own thread - though I'm prepared to be surprised. I wonder if the countdown clock will work this time.

thanks guys, should have also asked when LH check-in opens (answer: 2h50 before the flight). Now eating some stuff in a cheap landside noodle bar instead of the Thai lounge... LX has early check-in (go figure)...

I am pretty sure there will be huge disappointment again! Why would they change the "offers" ?

You could have checked in at the Airport Express station in Kowloon or Hong Kong.
I do LH 839 DUS-MUC in about an hour. So I just checked the arrival gate as I have to connect in MUC and it says T2S. Is that the abbreviation for a tarmac bus pick up position?
Haven't seen that before. Flight is on B735 so not unlikely.

maybe T2S means Terminal 2 Schengen and T2N Terminal 2 Non-Schengen
On LH.com's departure and arrival info page, most arrivals at MUC are appearing as T2S or T2N for much of today.
Just did STR-MUC this morning and then breakfast in the the FCL before Oktoberfest. The T2x means car pickup for HONs and my friend was impressed when we got into the Porsche
The cockpit of the Airbus A320 was reportedly left unmanned during the scuffle and at one point a pilot allegedly threatened to land Flight IC-844, from the United Arab Emirates to Delhi, in Pakistan, which it was flying over. According to Indian media reports, crew members threw punches and hurled abuse at each other in full view of 106 passengers...."
