As I already have enough plastic cards in more or less shining colors I'd prefer some real metal. I could still try to get an Amex Cent in titanium version though
I was really p*** off tonight that LX was rattening LH's seatblocking once again and the CL-crew had no clue once again that this exists. The AVRO had about 20 empty middle-seats, but all in the back rows. Tired from a long day in the mountains, I had to share my preassigned 4th row (left-hand) in Economy with two other tall people
Just a comment on that:
Was yesterday on LH 3741 ZRH-MUC at A63. It's LH CL metal with an RJ85. And it was on a United ticket (connecting from IAD). At IAD I got 16E assigned and the Agent was not able to find any other seat. Well, UAL....cause at time of checkin for my TATL flight I doubt, everyone had already checked-in for that LH flight but anyways...
As you maybe remember, I'm 1,98m tall so I really do not want to sit in a middle seat - same as you.
We landed too early in ZRH from IAD so I went to the SEN lounge and asked if I could get another seat. The lady told me to ask at the gate, cause she can't do anything. Ok, was at the gate really early then and asked the GA very friendly if there's a change to get a different seat. She (had a SWISS sticker on her jacket - and was btw very cute) asked me to be patient - she will try to do her best. She kept my BP. Shortly before boarding begun she came to my waiting seat (rather than calling me) and handed me with a smile my new BP with the first Eco row D seat. I thanked her much! (C was full with 27 pax). Also a nice farewall at the gate while boarding. After boarding was completed I looked around and as far as I could see there were only 2 seats empty in Eco (they also announced that the plane is going to be verry full). One next to me (a middle seat) and one in the row behind me (window). No clue if it was just luck or due to SEN. But I found it really nice.....especially after a long TATL flight.....
