Ot

Thomas

I was aware of that but thanks anyway. More like wishful thinking on my part

What I am actually more concerned about is the threshhold for HON - will it remain at 300K or is the chance really high for this to be increased ....?

Apologies for getting this thread OT...

It's actually 600k in two calendar years.
Or 300k in each year when you split it up.

For the time being it is 600K in two years - ther is no split between the two - it is merely an addition of the two years that are counted. You can do more than 600K in one year and will get its - there is no obligation to be over 300 in each of the two years that are counted.

If it is going to increase - who knows. I guess it will depend on the number of HON's - when launched I was told that the max wanted was 3000 - beyond that - the level of individual approach / service LH wanted to offer could not be guranteed. For the time being the use other instruments to curb the numbers - see the removal of UA as HON miles.

Cheers

Thomas

Some HONs see it like 300k in each year.
Recelty I was sitting next to a HON on a flight to JFK he told me that he already earned 300k this year so he needs another 300k next year to get the status for another two years. I said that he can also fly 600k this year but he was replying that he's only travelling for leisure therefore it meansfor him that he has to make 300k each year.
Well that's up to him but I thought maybe unknows is also referring to this point.

I am a little bit confused about the content for this thread. I thought the intension was to compile information about mileage promotions, now we have a mix of mileage promotions and fare deals. If fare deals should not get lost, they deserve an own thread.

Hi, Ventimiglia,
excuse me for "confusing" you - what kind of browser do you use?
I really don't know what was the intention of this thread -
I only can see "list of promotions" on top (using I.E.7).

if you need another thread: open it asap, okay?

please explain if I'm wrong.

My intention was to sum up all Miles&More promos (such as in the old promotions-thread). Thus, this does not include fare deals, as A380-SQ has posted them here. In fact, I cannot offer to do this, as I have no clue about fare deals, moreover, I have never bought any LH-ticket on my own.

It is not problem for me (or my "baby" ), if A380-SQ posts fare deals here. However, Ventimiglia is probably correct: it would be better to open a new thread to keep some order.

I've been receiving the "Frankfurter Rundschau" for about 1.5 weeks now. Is it better for me to call and cancel or do they really call? (Don't want a bill for a year's subscription with the reasons that they tried to call me 20 times supposedly and never reached me). Anyone gotten credit for the miles/experience with this?
