Of course- I always thought of smoking as a way of "air drying" but I can see I am wrong in my thinking.

Anyway- Swiss and Austrian typically both have pretty good meats (cold) in business class. Lufthansa I have had some good luck with in First- in business I am usually not too much of an eater as I don't like their menus very often (once in a while to be fair they are very good). I generally don't like to eat on the plane unless I am absolutely starving- much easier from a jetlag perspective to eat prior to departure or at destination/on arrival.

I agree with your statement 100%. Prior to departure have always a choice of multiple restaurants and dishes, so never have problem with the choice of food on the plane. Same goes when arriving to the destination

The cold option usually has a detailed ingredient list on the packaging of the serving itself, the hot option has none whatsoever.
Potato salad with salmon I had a couple of months ago had the ingredients listed on the back of the plastic container. And the ingredients did include egg.

Sorry to double reply on this thread. I was wondering if anyone has tried any of OS's A La carte items?

Flew bunch of times on LH long-haul flights and never thought about taking pictures of the food... I'll make sure to take one from HKG-FRA.
