Does UA P fare appear on the Miles and More earning page? Not last time I've checked.
Did anyone get miles so far? I believe no.
Did M&M state that UA P would get 0 miles? Yes.

I would say we are reasonably sure that you do not get any miles right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was to change at some point in the future.

earn miles on United P-class

I tried to search for this info, didn't find it.

What are earning rules for P-class on United ?
P is not mentioned on the M&M website as an eligible earning class.

Thanks,

Luc

Just look at post 3, 9 and 10 of this thread to find what you are looking for.

No, it's probably not intended this way but is is the actual situation until M&M finally updates it's UA earnings table.

it would appear that the M&M page has been updated

P earns 100% miles, Z earns 150% miles and JCD 200%

I travelled on this P fare IAD-BRU & FRA-ORD and it credited @ 25 % on AP.
I have asked Aeroplan to review, and will post their response!

So now Lufthansa have updated their table, maybe they'll credit me that UA P-class ORD-MCO segment of 5 weeks ago, after their mail told me bluntly "no miles". You know what, I can't even be bothered to try.

The changes were effective 01SEP2012, so I wouldn't expect anything for a flight 5 weeks ago.

I can confirm. Here is a reply I received for a flight I made before 08.31 but requested credit after 09.01.

Dear pititom

Thank you for your fax.

Owing to an unexpectedly high volume of incoming correspondence the processing of your request took longer than usual. Please accept our genuine apologies for the inconvenience incurred.

We regret that our previous replies did not meet your expectations and that you are disappointed about our frequent flyer programme. However, we wish to explain our last messages in more detail. As you entered your card number into your reservation and presented your Senator Card at check-in, the flight New York - San Francisco from 08 August 2012 was transferred automatically to your Miles & More account with all relevant information, such as flight number, route, flight date and the booked seating class. Our internal flight auditing system checked the data and found that the seating class P was exempt from mileage credit until 31 August 2012 with United Airlines.

To ensure that the data that was transferred automatically to your account is correct, we asked you to send us the complete flight documents again for verification. However, upon checking your ticket and boarding pass, we found that you indeed booked the P-Class for your flight. Therefore, kindly understand that we cannot comply with your request for mileage credit.

Naturally, we understand that you are confused about the contradictory information on our website, but we only publish the most recent details concerning mileage allocation. You might be interested to know that from 01 September 2012 the P-Class qualifies for earning miles with United Airlines.

We trust our reply covers your queries. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us again at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,
Your Miles & More Service Team

Sorry to resurrect this thread. I've just booked a flight IAD-ICN in United P class that I want to credit to M&M. United credits 150% miles for this, but the LH website says P class gets only 100%. What's the latest situation now, 150% or 100%? -- Thanks.

If you credit to M&M you will receive 100% miles.
