Red face New LH Ad campaign motto: 'Nonstop you'

LH just released its new capmpaign in W&V:

http://www.wuv.de/nachrichten/untern...usrichten_soll

After kicking out McCann Erickson a few months ago, 'No better way to fly' is now history, replaced by this:

It clearly aims to get the leisure traveller excited, curious to see how they are going to use the claim to attract business customers....

'Nonstop you'

Typical German English I am afraid!

I liked 'No better way to fly', I didn't necessarily always agree, but it was a nice slogan.

Yes German English . I remember reading that the public don't necessarily respond to these campaigns, given many don't understand them. That can only be a problem when this campaign is aimed at the leisure sector!

You mean why neither of your maternal languages is English or German

Zur perfekten Welle (To the perfect wave - and it's meant as water wave in the context)

To Indonesia, Thailand or Japan?

Google Translate English > Japanese

"あなた直行便" which can be roughly translated back as "Your nonstop flight" or "Nonstop flight to you"

Perhaps Google with their new privacy setting detected I've been looking at an aviation related website.

This concrete ledge actually looks more comfortable than the LH longhaul C seat - and it is not sloped.
