Don't forget the NW promo which is similar to the DL promo
http://www.nwa.com/offers/europebonus/

Two problems for me:
1. There is an inconsistency in the fine print regarding when travel needs to be completed, though. Near the top it says "Travel through September 30, 2009". In the fine print it says "Qualifying travel must be after registration and by August 31, 2009." I think the intent is to say thru September, but this is annoying.

2. Trying to book MSP-ZRH on NWA.com is yielding a higher price for the JFK connection than thru ATL. Interestingly, Orbitz allows JFK for the same $365 as ATL. So much for using a voucher on NWA.com while getting JFK-ZRH bonus points.

As a CO plat, I'm not focused on skymiles. But apparently I should be for these fares, given some of the astonishing bonuses.

To get the Skymiles AMEX bonus, I'm pretty certain I'd have to put in my skymiles # (foregoing my double CO plat miles, but so be it, especially since DL is already throwing in ANOTHER 10,000 bonus miles). Do you think every member of my party would get the 15,000 bonus miles, or would it be one per rez?

It wouldn't impact me, but I'd guess connecting pax would also qualify if they flew one of the designated flights.

I just have really, really bad experiences collecting DL bonuses. I'm just very skeptical every member of my family would get the 10,000 + 15,000 AMEX bonus.

Booked 8/29-9/7 MKE<->MAD for $289. This is such a good summer deal I don't even care about the bonus miles to VLC. Ibiza here I come. Woohoo!!

Does a DL-coded AF operated flight booked in U earn 100% eqm in Northwest Worldperks?

But what else is out there?

As a CO plat, I guess this will be my last trip on DL with status (they switch to the Star Alliance in late October). Of course, this trip -- summer to the Alps! -- would be worth it without double miles and lounge access.

BTW, I ticket these things on priceline with a fatwallet link. Three percent rebate and 24 hours to cancel.
Sold again! 9/3 - 9/6 JFK -ZRH. Thanks for posting this, with the bonus link, very awesome. ^^^

For any runners, same day turns to ATH are possible using JFK-ATH-ATL. Oct 3 worked for myself. Not getting the sub 300 fares anywhere near CVG.

Unfortunately there's no mention of Delta CC miles with the NW offer, so I come out ahead in terms of miles garnered since I'm only Silver with NY.

Of course, if I put my NW number in, I get the EQMs with NW, which will help with status. Or are they going to combine EQMs this year?
