I booked through Orbitz, but I couldn't see any way to enter my AE number - it only had a space for Spanair's FF number. (I put my AE number in just in case...)
I don't want to call Orbitz on this and alert them to the deal - any advice?

WAIT. You can always add your Frequent flyer number at CHECKIN.

I hate to sit out this kind of transatlantic fare, but getting to Calgary (and then getting home) is more than a little difficult and expensive.

Unfortunately, my trip is in September and doesn't qualify for this special either.
XPdia.com offers the same JK-coded flights for $34.90 less ($96 total).

provided ticket numbers within a few minutes of purchase! Thanks, OP!
Great tip on XP.
I want to back off somewhat from my advice to book the AC code on the domestic segs. Some websites I use show the AC-coded class as K, not A, which puts you no further ahead than booking the JK code.

In case it helps anyone else, you can enter an AE number if you book with XP instead of Orbitz. (However, don't choose "Aeroplan" as this will give error messages. Instead choose "Air Canada - Aeroplan.")
I've never flown on AC metal using a codeshare from another airline (I usually book directly with AC). Will there be anyway to do advanced seat selection? I assume my certs will be useless, but for this price, I can't complain.
