Just called on behalf of one of my friends, who was booked through Travelocity.
After Travelocity put me on hold to call Span Air, the woman came back and said I had the option depart one day earlier (Sep 20) or one day later. Same itinerary as before.
I chose the one day earlier option. Comes back the same day.

Bomb in Majorca
I know, everyone here is bound for MENorca, and the latest bombs were on MAJorca, but people may want to pay closer attention as these are the second and third bombs in Spain in the last couple of days.

Yes. Everybody should cancel their trips and go to Orlando instead.

Hi holtju2 and sindjic: No. Where did it say don't go? With something like this, as with the Swine Flu, which engendered endless macho discussion, it's important to distinguish the point for all, which I didn't do. Whoops. It's about the possible disruptions. That's all. (All three were only after the cops.) I suggested people pay attention.

Wasn't offered anything regarding Frankfurt.
I was offered the day before or day after but neither of those worked for me. I told the Spanair rep that I bought a ticket for return on 9-xx and thats when I need to come back. She tried to blame AC, and I replied I bought a Spanair ticket and Spanair decided to use AC, so they need to accomodate me and work out any issues w/ AC themselves. I asked for FRA and she replied that flight costs more than the $96 I paid. I said its not my fault what Spanair charged for the ticket. She finally gave in a little and said she would check the loading on the FRA flight and if low she would put me on the FRA flight. I guess it was light but she didnt give me the non-stop flight to Calgary, I have to connect in Toronto, but both flights are AC flights. Expedia rep wasnt helpful, I had to deal w/ Spanair directly, then call expedia back to have them confirm changes w/ Spanair...........

According to checkmytrip.com my outbound YYZ-MAD flight was dropped as well. (Wonder if Expedia will ever get around to notifying me...)
I would love to be routed through FRA so I can stop at the Tegut in the basement and stock up on Milka. However, FRA-MAD arrives at 11:55 at T1 and MAD-MAH leaves 1:15 at T2 - is that enough time for a connection? If we misconnect, who takes care of us - the ticketing carrier or the operating carrier?
With all of these schedule changes, I've been putting off booking hotels, but they seem cheap enough - visitmenorca.com has rates of around $40CAD per night if anyone is still looking.

Maybe they will let you overnight in MAD and take the MAD-MAH flight the nexy day ? Be firm w/ them or call the Spain Spanair office instead of the US one.
As for your hotels, if they are cancellable w/o a fee, go ahead and book them.
In reading the posts I decided to check our flights on checkmytrip and sure enough our September 23rd YYZ-MAD segment has also been dropped. Has anyone called in and solved this problem?
YYZ Toronto Pearson Int'l ON CA [CYYZ]

And then back to 5x a week the following weeks.
Incidentally, I managed to get the NA number (located in PHX for those who are interested) to drop the MAH legs without much in the way of argument - I simply asked if they would do it because of the 22-hour layover in MAD. Bam, done. This was around a week after having changed it. I've also talked with the Spain # and it is quite easy to talk with them and they're willing to do a fair bit on the reservations. Their English is usually quite good. Good luck to everyone who needs changes!
It doesn't matter if AC offered K or not - it is a JK ticket that is using AC metal.
I don't get your point.
JK does not codeshare on YYZ-FRA, so that segment could not be booked in JK E, and I don't think there is any AC K on YYZ-FRA, so it will have to be booked in another, potentially upgradable class.

Is that an unreasonable question to ask?
I misunderstood your question with regards to the YYZ-FRA segment.
However AC does have space available in K. (Even though AC may not offer an actual K fare YYZ-FRA to have it available)
