C$2409 is pretty good....~$1950USD. A pretty crazy mismash of carriers-Shame about the GA segment though, Im guessing a lot of people here refuse to fly them (myself included)
Wow - nice find, thanks. A quick search shows that it's available for quite some time into the future, including over Thanksgiving (11/21-27), though that's a lot of flying for a short break. Interestingly, the ex-DPS segment is available on some other carriers for alternate dates. Leaving on 11/27, it's on TG via BKK, for example. (Although I don't think Garuda for as short a segment as DPS-SIN is too big of a problem.)

You don't need to take GA, pick a different route/carrier.

Can use THAI instead of Garuda if you play with it.
Also IAD-DPS using JAL via IAD-CDG-NRT-DPS for around $CA 3K for those of you who prefer JAL business.
Note US site showing similar pricing.

Those departing on Thai from BKK can also buy an upgrade to business that might add some extra miles to their banks on * for about 8800 Bht, or about 250 USD. It's not bad if you need some comfort somewhere on the trip...the aforementioned upgrd price is from my last flight from BKK/TPE..
Ask the day you are leaving, and if available, is worth it...
returning:
DPS-BKK on Thai in J
BKK-CDG-JFK on AF in J
Total Cost: $1,960.50
Couple of questions:
1. I can confirm all legs on each airlines respective website except Thai from DPS-BKK, should I be concerned.
2. The entire itinerary comes up under my DL.com account EXCEPT the Thai leg (even the non-skyteam CX leg). Should I be concerned?
3. I entered my First, Middle, and Last name on expedia when booking. When I pull up on my DL.com account (and on AF.com for that matter) the website shows FirstMiddle, Last. Is that going to cause me any problem with my skymiles account and earning miles?

1. Thai and checking the itinerary online doesn't go well together. I would advocate a call to Thai if you are concerned. I did a couple of months ago when I had a similar situation to yours and everything was fine.
2. See 1.
3. This is very commonplace. I would keep those BPs safe. Maybe someone else could shed light on this.

The best seats for DPS will be SQ or CX.
KE's is absolutely horrible--no IFE, something like 40" pitch. OK for the daytime flight on ICN-DPS, but the redeye DPS-ICN is brutal.
I like CX's late afternoon flight, or SQ's 1pm.
TG's will depend if it's on a 777 or Airbus. Go for the 777.
