HEY Rockyp hope your enjoying Bali Please post any success in changes of rtn flts and How? expedia or Dl thanks
After reading alexwuk's unfortunate experience, I decided against making changes. Furthermore, SQ's flights to CDG were heavily booked in business this week and I doubt I would've been able to find any availability in D class. Had a fantastic trip though -- the SQ experience and Bali luxury resort stay were superlative and a great way to spend our 30th wedding anniversary.
There is nothing like having a Singapore Sling while lying in bed at 39,000 feet!
Apologies if this has been asked before--I might've missed a post. Will I be able to submit the boarding passes for my CX and TG legs to UA after the fact and earn miles? Or does the fact that it's a DL-issued ticket cancel that out? Currently I have my SkyMiles number applied to the whole itinerary, though I of course understand I'd only earn miles on the AF legs.

CX will not earn miles with UA. CX is in Oneworld. United is in Star Alliance.
TG will accrue miles (assuming TG operated flight and flight number). It would be simpler to get your UA # into the reservation for the TG segments before you fly. DL issuing the ticket has no bearing on mileage accrual in this situation.

The airline FF systems are not meant to handle middle names.
Therefore they show the First and Middle names as part of the First,
separated by a space.
I had a long phone call to solve with United when we were trying to add all family members to my profile and transfer miles.
In future, I think due to security ,
your sex, date of birth and middle name
will be required for all FF accounts.

AF's A380s would not be equipped with special luxury features specifically designed for the double-deck aircraft like spas or spacious premium suites. "It's an aircraft, an aircraft offering high-density seating and thus offering lower unit costs," he said. "We will use it as such."
Why bother?
If it does not have the First class rooms, or the spas, what is the benefit?
It does not even have premium economy
basically a cattle car, emphasized as such by the CEO

Good to hear the responses are all positive so far. I just posted the question out of curiosity. I definitely still plan on going as well. But sadly there is no doubt tourism to Indonesia will take a hit.

Just wanted to report another successful trip on this fare. My routing was (AF)JFK-(SQ)CDG-(SQ)SIN-(SQ)DPS-(SQ)SIN-(AF)CDG-JFK and booked on 618 stock.
