Small world. I'm in SIN right now in the SilverKris lounge. Just had a shower (nice showers!) and some "dinner". Flew in from Sydney today and flying out to Bangkok. Will miss you by about 2 hours!
I've got one of these trips scheduled for next Feb, and I can't wait. Your trip sounds superb. Again, thanks to the OP. It's not often I get to go to someplace new (DPS) AND stop in CDG and NRT and fly through SIN twice (got to like it here...).
Billy
Delta3MM, What are you travel dates?; I also have one in Feb.
I fly out of JFK on Feb 13, CDG Feb 15 arrive DPS Feb 16 leave Feb 18, one day in NRT on Feb 19, Feb 20 in CDG then on back to JFK same day.
When I booked the trip, I couldn't decide how much time I wanted to spend in DPS. But since I was by myself, I'm just doing 2 days. I know I could have enjoyed more, but really not sure what's going on next Feb. But I am looking forward to my overnight in CDG and day in NRT.
Completed the outbound yesterday without incident.
AF checkin at JFK was able to access my E-Ticket and print BP's for the subsequent CX sectors - great, except they said "paper ticket required" which caused no end of confusion with the CX staff at CDG.
Stayed at the brand new Holiday Inn at DPS, very pleasant, a true beachfront resort.

Glad you got to Bali and are enjoying your stay. Was it in the CX CRS to ask you for a "paper ticket" at CDG?
Has anyone else flown on this fare? Is it now generally apparent that these tickets are being honored without incident?
Has anyone done the 1-hour connection on AF at CDG from the late flight ex-JFK to the HKG flight? That's the part that worries me about my ticket.
You have a valid ticket with a tight connection. I'd expect that if you miss your conx, then you'll be rerouted in the most convenient available option. I would NOT be booking any tight onward connections from where this ticket ends if I were you though.

Hey MegatopLover, are you on connection from AF to CX with that ~60 minute layover in CDG? If so, we're in the same situation...
No, I'm connecting between two AF flights.

I'm staying in Bali. But Mr. Megatop is flying in from BKK to meet me, which could go haywire if I don't get to Bali on time.
I have 2 AF legs (as do many people) on this routing, JFK-CDG and CDG-JFK, respectively.
When I pulled the reservation up on Air France.com today using the AF record locator, everything looked fine except when looking at the flight number and cabin of service on the AF legs. On the main menu, before clicking on the "+" signs to pull down the further information (such as equipment, flight time, etc), my reservation shows this:
DL 8601 - null
and
DL 8550 - null
while all the SQ flights show "Business", as they should . Further, under seat selection, it does not even list these flights until I click on Select or Modify, then it will not give me a choice of seats on these legs and states "No seat selection."
So, should I be concerned. Does this "Null" mean something?
