Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Older portions of the thread have been separated into archive thread by year. They are listed below

Howdy folks,
Can anyone advise efficient way to look up available cheap OW fare(& low taxes) with EOE/ST permitted?

I have been lurking at this thread and reading up for months. I finally found a 3x to cut YQ by 50%/$108. Its not much of saving but at-least having some grasp of tricked fare construction gave some sense of accomplishment

Looking forward to striking some more savings in coming weeks and hopefully start contributing here.

If I'm searching for a Return flight from TXL to BKK with TK at kayak.com, I get a price of $1192. For the same flight I get a price of of just $789 if I enter the segments in the multi city search (TXL IST BKK / BKK IST TXL) separately, just because of different booking-classes availability. Tax are the same. Wouldn't call this a dump, but maybe someone can use it.

You can certainly do without it but you can save a good amount of time if you know what you are looking for.

What am I missing?

Hi everyone
New to the forum and have done a lot of reading before asking questions so I am hoping this is something I missed, part of learning curve, hence the title
1) On the trick it forum I am unable to scroll to the last page, it is 'stuck' on pg 3070 - have tried a few times - this is the only post so far with this 'feature'. WAIM?
2) I posted a couple of questions, 1 on a MR (admittedly from a non-hub)and 2 on a UL upgrade. I did my research, and posted only after none of the options based on my 'study' worked out successfully. I know it says in the pre-read that you may not always get responses, but if someone can point out the shortcomings in my posts, I can address them (gratefully )
Thank you

1) if you have read posts from past few months, you'd know there is glitch (I caught some flame while someone else asked exact same question)...

2) Its unlikely you'd get help for non-trick related question. I am not sure what your question is?

Make sure you read before you post otherwise. you will catch flame here for sure.

Again, it is not the amazing prices, but the safety and the convenience of the constructions that is great. Many Asian destinations (PEK, SIN, KUL, BKK) for <€220.
Is it a 3X similar to what was in the past the Nordic Route (C2E-Japan-C2E+3x Saudia)? Only departures from Saudi Arabia?

Thanks ccuser for the 'flame' headsup and for being kind to a newcomer..I inadvertently posted a "newbie" question on a "superuser" forum - my apologies.
#1 - Thank you for clarifying about the glitch - I honestly missed it
#2 - back to the 'posting in wrong forum part - I meant to ask this in the newbie forum - I had posted the MR question in the MR AA 1 W forum and the UL upgrade question under the UL upgrade thread, but have heard nothing, just crickets so far

Hi,
do you know any good dumps from C2 with 1x in C3SE? Destination - wherever.

I already found some, but none of them is usable for me. I can share in PM if so.

Yes, CA is probably one of the easiest airlines to dump C2-C3
