Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

C1 - C2 RT in J RT for $985. Almost full dump, and very little room to dump anymore. Totally not too good of a deal, but that's my first meaningful try. Definitely beyond LCC that probably worth trying.

You can't really get away from death and taxes.

Yet I still can't even understand a single word game here.

I see $835.27 with the largest tax component intact (on ITA and seemingly bookable through an OTA, though I did not attempt to purchase),or $749.07 without that tax but an additional base fare for the (flyable) intermediate step needed to eliminate that tax. I haven't seriously followed or posted to this thread for probably a decade now, so I'm not up to speed on current etiquette and conventions. If this needs to be edited, please let me know.

I am not sure but I think you write about another airline deal (actually also mentioned a few posts earlier).
Finally, I see also OTA with the lowest ita price, $413.65 in C (see #10526), $163.91 in Y (a bit different route)

$826 is my best try after realizing not all segments have to be in the same cabin.

After a few tries, it's indeed possible to get it around $830.

No, I think SourSweetTea and I were writing about a different one which has a C base fare about $100 more than the total C price you posted about. Your deal sure looks intriguing but I haven't looked for, let alone found, the base fare and construction with which this could be accomplished.

My construction gets it down to 529 / 559 USD in C, depending on strike used. Unfortunately it's not an easy endeavour for me to fly my strikes. Others I found don't do much damage to the fat except a couple of hundreds. If anyone has more hints on where to find other strikes that eliminate YQ fully or by maybe 75% or more on this carrier, it would be more than welcome.

I am trying to work on it .. but I have also been gone from the thread for a few yrs... Is it via a 3rd strike? My target fare has a high yr fee on it.
