Do not call the airlines under any conditions! This is the fastest way to kill the trick and bring unwanted attention to your itinerary! And do not post precious deals in this thread, this is by far the fastest way to kill the trick!

************************************************** ******
This is NOT the right place to ask: "Can you help me with a low fare for AAA-BBB?" This is not the beg-it thread, but the trick-it thread.

This thread deals with unique combinations of routes and booking tricks in order to lower prices on airline fares. Prices that would astound the general public are often achieved by the posters in this thread.

Many people, including airline representatives, monitor this thread. For that reason, it is unorganized, very content heavy, often lacking details, and written in shorthand. It takes patience and effort in order to understand the conversation and be able to participate as an active member.

We encourage you to read the entirety of this thread if you would like to get started and to experiment as soon as you understand the gist of Trick It. Lots of time spent reading, practicing, and learning is the only way to be able to reproduce our tricks and discover new ones yourself. There are many, many people who ask for advice here, so productive members are only able to help those who have shown a concerted effort and progress over a long period of time (months).

If you have no idea what this thread is about, a good place to start are various blogs' posts on the subject. At the very least, read the Rules for posting in this thread. They're also listed in the very first post, below.

Older portions of the thread have been separated into archive thread by year. They are listed below

If the airline cancelled your itinerary, chances are they'll rebook you into any positive inventory without charging a change fee or difference in fare. As such, I'm not sure if you care if the YQ is applied or not.

...and chances are that they just cancel and not rebook at all.

MAMA MIA

Out again with a HUGE routing error, which includes a highly desirable stop--over.

Length of Stop-over can be up to 3 months.

Therefore itinerary can essentially be used as 2 One-Ways separated by 90 days.

Bookable everywhere including its own website.

No 1X. Totally safe.

Any additional hints?
Is this mistake on like the EK routing rulesPVG-SIN via DXB?
is the stopover at their hub?

Analogous to the EK you mention but it is not EK. IF the EK deal had been PVG-DXB-MXP-DXB-SIN and if MXP would be the stop-over point then it would be more analogous.
5 continents involved including 1 continent twice for connection.
22 K+ kilometers for 179.50 Ł All-in.

I believe that is a little more than 1/2 around the world

Stop-over not in hub.

There have historically been a few similar constructs on SQ and Etihad. I wonder if its any of those. Of course at 179gbp it will be Y so not interested, though if same routing rules in J were filed thats a totally different kettle of fish

Some good north atlantic sandwiches on the smallest alliance. J as well. Is this new faring?

Anybody have some experience flying these? Thinking of some tests and how well placed covid cancelations could help

It's been around for a bit - side trips permitted is what you are looking for. And yes, u should be paying fuel once (but really better is pay none at all, but that's a different story that has to be highly specific to your situation).

Is this still available? Got a few ideas from your post (probably completely wrong), but will not waste time if it has been fixed
