[FARE GONE] UA: SFO-SYD/MEL $718 ai
Sample dates: 4/8 - 4/19. Seems to be available March - June. Stopover in LAX on the flight back.
$711 from LAX non-stop.

You can do this route for under $600 if you are really keen.

I'm seeing $545 ai on ITA SFO-SYD that includes visits to HNL in both directions. SFO-HNL-LAX and LAX-HNL-SFO could each be upgraded with one e500 if clearing prior to the gate. About 67 hours total with 8 hours for a shower and rest at NZ lounge in SYD before heading back.

It's there, and even bookable on .bomb although you may wish to go elsewhere if you have other tricks up your sleeve. Just tried 3/9-3/11.
