Thanks OP. Does anyone know if PL has a history of canceling these mistakes?

So is this only a UA/BMI deal? Has someone found anything on AA or CO/Skyteam?

Yes. For AA fans:

This is very similar to the Hotwire trick from last week. Just choose a SAS or BMI segment in an otherwise all-AA itinerary and you can drop over $300 from the price.

For example, DFW-ARN/OSL/GOT all produce sub-$600 itineraries. No need to mess with multi-city searches - just book it as a r/t.

I used 11/05 - 11/10 for my testing.

Got the PL trick to work and priced up ORD>IAD>LHR>IAD>ORD at $224. Only downer is that I live in the UK and Priceline US doesn't appear to sell UK flights (and their UK site is awful). Have any other sites ever had similar tricks such as this..? Or any way whatsoever to take advantage of this while it's around?

It usually takes more than 6 months for this transition, I think CO officially said 9-10 months. So it may be too early. I can't wait for this to happen though, all I see in the MR forum is UA/US deals!
