This fare requires a Saturday night stay, correct?
I assume this follows the same rules as the UA promotion. http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,50069,00.html

I didn't have any luck because of the Saturday night stay. I couldn't get a Monday-Wednesday work.
:-\ If only this promotion extended for the summer!

fwiw, i did get the right price on a few of these ex-LGA/EWR but only for FRA and only in Feb..

i was hoping to get a MUC or AMS but the final deduction didn't work on those

I found PHL-ORD ORD-AMS departing 2/21, AMS-ORD ORD-PHL returning on 2/26 for $283 a/i on United. Haven't been able to get other dates or city pairs to work. Anyone finding anything departing from the Southeast?

If I'm with Aeroplan, how do I enter my acct #? It only allows US, LH, UA FF codes to be entered at checkout..

If I understand correctly, the OP is using PL as a booking engine but not using the "name your own price" feature. if booked through PL but not using the bidding feature of PL, does the ticket earn miles ?

Correct

Should be like booking on other 3rd party websites, depending on the applicable fare rules.

Absolutely.

What appears to be happening is that mating a US-operated domestic flight segment to a UA-operated transatlantic journey is causing Priceline to omit the fuel surcharge.

I'm confused... how are you "getting it" if you are not purchasing it? Are you simply trusting that if the routing is

BUF-ORD on US
ORD-MUC on UA
MUC-ORD on UA
ORD-BUF on any?

that the final pricing deduction will occur?

Hit "Purchase" on faith?
