Orbitz is still pricing it. Haven't gone in for more, so don't know whether it will spit up at final purchase or not.

If you're looking for the fare, try Sunday outbound, Sat return.. far off into the future eg Feb.

Round one:
In for 7/4 - 7/9
Overnight in Toronto (decided 4 nights wasn't enough..)

Round two
7/10 - 7/15 - Booked the last one with a hotel, thought this would add extra protection.

Awesome if it pans out! ^

- and my girlfriend and I are going to Thailand a week later

I managed to get two tix for Aug 24 - Sep 2, with an invol 22 hour stopover in Milan on the way back, which is perfect. Both flights are via MXP. One segment (MXP-LCA) came up Econo on one ticket (only 3 hrs+), but who cares.

Total cost for Canadian delivery came out at $228.65 per ticket. I've already received ticket numbers, seat assignments and advised they'll be shipped FedEx.
This was on Orbitz.
Thanks very much to OP!

Looks like it is gone...

I was able to price it but when selecting, orbitz gave errors.

Tried a variety of dates in May, June, July, Aug

Edited: it's still showing up for late fall

It's still working! Just booked 20 Nov YYZ-MXP-LCA returning 24 Nov LCA-MXP, 25 Nov MXP-YYZ.

Confirmation from Orbit shows Alitalia record locator and ticket number (paper ticket). Couldn't get anything to price a few minutes beforehand on Expedia.co.uk

Amazing find and amazing that it's still working!

That's been happening all day, and does not mean that it's gone.

Alitalia's many strikes have been so small and well-scheduled that they didn't impact me even once last year. (And I flew AZ for well over 150,000 elite qualifying miles within the past 15 months and at least 75,000 EQMs in the first two months of this year.)

Supposedly Alitalia stands for Always Late In Take-off And Landing In Airports. But they don't seem to be that bad to me either.

Move away from the light, Carol Anne!

Just booked this on orbitz. Departure date is 7/9/06 and the return is 7/19/06. I also see availability for other July dates. How can I arrange an extended stopover at FCO? Can I change the dates at all?

Someone above reported such.

I know certain AZ call center supervisors and employees are so used to hearing my voice/name and seeing the "unusual" fares that they wouldn't blink an eye.

Another Score!

Flying out on 12/27 via MXP. Forced overnight arriving LCA on 12/29. Coming home on 1/1, routed via FCO/JFK. Being a New Yorker I might accidentally miss my on-going flight to YYZ on the return.

I also had a Thanksgiving one that I had to cancel, as the return as actually on Monday, and had to be back on Sunday.

A great way to top off the account for 2006 and start strong in 2007!!
