Just booked another one 30 sec ago on Orbitz. 10/2 - 10/4. It assigned me 1C on both outbound and return. Of course, no ticket #'s on this one or my other one from an hour ago.

The continuous availabilty of this deal is tempting me to book a few more, even though mrs. ashaboe and myself already have two tickets each (confirmed with tix #s and all).
Select Business Class, Alitalia and 1 day before and after, then when you get to the next screen, select 3 days before and after
it will open up a lot of availability
This is by far the best and easiest method to use Orbitz to get the current fares (at least find them) right now. Thank you.

I've been playing around, taking the booking to the last step and then cancelling.
At 12:45 EDT - this message when clicking on $33 fare "We're sorry, but due to changes in airline availability, the fare for your selected trip is no longer available. We have adjusted the fares for all affected itineraries. The fare for your selected trip is now $2649 total. See below."
which dates do you see? i tried 75+ combinations already
Feb 5-10 for one on Orbitz. Granted, I can get it to come up but since I already have one I havent gon ethrough to the last page. It may reject like it did to a previous poster.
Not as far as I can telll. The ones from a few hours back had ticket numbers well within two hours.
Thanks. My first batch had ticket numbers within an hour. But the ticket included UA flights (although I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this).
The availability has been gone for a little bit now and it's slowly trickling through the "Orbitz Matrix". Looks like this one has breathed its last breath.
No excuses if you didn't get in on this one...and wanted to.
