I've seen otherwise on the CX Master Upgrade thread, but I probably won't chance it next time and use Asia Miles to upgrade the fare.

Forgot about elite mileage bonus of 120% for EXP. Very nice.

For a couple of flights I have checked it seems to be PE (R) for three of the four legs now, instead of only two before.

However, I can still book via bookwithmatrix and Priceline.

My flight to MLE was delayed because of weather, I thought I might not be able to catch the return flight.
Fortunately, I didn't have any luggage, so I didn't need to go through the customs and border security check. I used the connection line instead. There was a basic security check, but it didn't take too long.

Hopefully I can see points from this trip in my account soon.

ps. Food is great in Hong Kong!
Also to add, the return flight it on the same plane so there's no way you can miss it due to delays.

Would it be the same amount of EQD`s and EQM`s with all flights in PE.
Not finding anything for dates July 18th-Aug 19th. Can you help please.

Currently you lose ~$200 in EQD with now 3 legs in PE, but the EQM are the same.

I wouldn't have expected them to as you didn't pay cash. As per my last post, the EQM would be the same regardless.

ya I didn't expect them to give me Business class EQM or EQD either...but they should at least give me EQM, EQD for PE fare which I paid for.

Yeah, I would raise that with Cathay. I've seen posts from people on that previously.

Oh wow. I upgraded with AM on the PE leg as well. Flying out in Dec. Can you let me know how it goes? Would suck not to get the EQM/EQD.
