SIN/KUL/BKK/SGN to East OZ or NZ under $1k R/T in J possible?
I'm basically eyeing MH who has the most aggressive fares especially out of SGN to North Asia. Just wondering if there's a chance a sale will come up for Eastern Australia or NZ? I'm looking at the 1st half of July.

Wondering won't get you far, with only 4 months to your trip.
Either hope for such heavy discount fares to surface, or make a plan!
1. Use miles (LifeMiles/AA/SQ/JAL) etc whatever you have
2. Fly coach /AirAsia
3. Connect several itineraries, if you can find "discount" fares from somewhere else outside Vietnam
4. Keep eyeing fares and hope for a miracle again.

Perth is 900 usd on Malaysian. Connect to east coast
Auckland is 1400 on Philippines airlines
melbourne is 1500 on both Malaysian and Thai

Thank you for the tips it is much appreciated I have tried most of these basically I'm looking for the best fare in business class and I'm hesitating between Japan and australasia. at this point given that business class fares to Japan sell for under $700 I think that's what I will go for as I do not think they will be competitive fairs or similar fares to Eastern Australia

PR has cheap flights out of Dubai to East Coast Australia. Malindo Air has a basic Business Class product out of Kuala Lumpur to Perth for dirt cheap and they just started a service to BNE from DPS - that should be cheap too.
