Just to be clear! If I book rd trip and only use ICN-JFK portion, will I'll be able to get refund for the return portion? Thanks

What are some good options for where to credit this fare?

Approx earnings:
AA would earn 16K EQM X 3 bonus RDMS would be 15K + Elite bonus
AS would earn 32K EQM with BONUS and 32K + elite bonus

Unlikely. My experience is that you would see a recalculation that is [fare paid] minus [lowest one way fare on file]. As I say upthread, that is about $700 that you would get back, not 50% of the RT fare.

Has anyone managed to get JL coded flights on the transpacific segment at the same price?

In playing around with some dates I'm seeing ICN-NRT on Korea Airlines, will that earn miles on AA since I'm booking on AA's website?

Look back at fare rules I posted, much be AA coded AA or JL operated, so that wont be possible under this fare.

ICN-NRT-LAX-JFK is 480 BA Tier points in each direction.

Just FYI, this is bookable as ICN-NRT-JFK-SFO-JFK-NRT-ICN for a few extra miles at the same price. The JFK->SFO segment books into A for some reason. It requires doing a multi-city search, and with the dates I tried it required overnighting in NRT to get the 773 service to JFK. (I imagine LAX is also possible, but didn't bother since I'm based in SFO).

There is no JL service GMP-NRT to the best of my knowledge. Only ICN-NRT and GMP-HND.

Well I'll just be connecting through TYO, so the fact that I'll be in NRT as opposed to HND isn't that big of a deal. I will be in Seoul though for a couple days so it would be convenient to fly out of GMP instead of making the trek to ICN
