Greetings from Mumbai! Brussels Airlines business class was exceptional. 1A on their A332 was great (has a bit more legroom than other rows, without a seat in front). The level of service was on par with QR.

That sounds great. I am happy for you. Enjoy Mumbai and let's hope that you will have the same experience on your way back.

Thx for letting us know.

I was on the inaugural and just returned a few days ago. Fantastic seat, awesome crew on the inaugural/so-so on the inbound (even though biz was 1/3 full). Food wasn't anything to write home about.

Has anyone had to cancel this trip and, if so, what was the cancellation fee? I might not be able to take my trip and I called SN and couldn't get a clear answer on this so for now I still have my ticket.

Just completed my first of two trips.
Bonus miles received the moment the 'normal' miles were added to my m&m account, so that's good.

Took a throne outbound which I found horrible, impossible to sleep. Changed my inbound seat to a middle aisle seat which was much, much better. Slept for a solid 5hrs which doesn't happen too often when in a J product.

Service good outbound - food as well, and as a beer aficionado I had nothing to complain about either. The beer of the month was my clear favorite (Bruxellensis from Brasserie de la Senne).
Inbound, mediocre. Crew is friendly but very loud, meal quite simple, no drinks menu or stuff like that.

Have another one in 2 months.

I'm on my way to ATH to start my trip. Which lounge does SN use at ATH? According to the *A website it's the GoldAir lounge - is this true and if so is it better than the A3 (or LH) lounge?

There is an excellent new LH lounge in ATH which you can use. You can also use the A3 lounge, but I found this to be a lot worse than the LH one.

I actually checked out all 3 (ie. LH, A3 and the Goldair lounge) and can certainly agree on that assessment. Best part: the selection of single malts they have at the LH lounge;-)

On the way back, the Swissport lounge in the non-Schengen part isn't very exiting... On the other hand, the GVK lounge in BOM was quite nice indeed.
