You can do two trips to Asia. TPA-DFW-HKG-KUL-NRT-DFW-TPA earns ~21,300 EQMs each trip:
11/4-6 for $889 - https://goo.gl/flights/n5Qr
12/2-4 for $933 - https://goo.gl/flights/7Wkn
For the remaining EQM's, you can do a quick same day run within US.

Note that only flights with an AA flight number are sure to earn 100% of miles for EQM. The flights with CX and MH flight numbers do not earn anything in these itineraries, so these trips earn about 16400 EQM each.

I believe that your budget is not sufficient to obtain 46125 EQM.

I'm finishing up a Platinum challenge with AA and trying to plan ahead for ExPlat for next year. I'd like to schedule a long mileage run in Jan. Flexible on dates. Would prefer out of OMA but I can do DES, MCI or ORD.

Budget $2,000-$3,000

CGK is always on my radar, but any other ideas would be helpful. Looking to travel up to a week and shooting for 40-50,000 EQM

Thanks, have been burned before by MH and JL flights, coming up short a few times. Getting this in AA stock will raise the price and out of budget. Oh well

New guy here - AA Plat trying to get Exc Plat

Forgive me in advance, I'm new to this entire thing. If there is already a thread that answers this in detail please point me that way.

If not, here's the sceanrio:
DFW native, AA flyer, I'm at 73,500 EQM's for the year and 80 EQS with aprox 20 EQS & 15K EQM's booked through the end of 2016.

Obviously I'm going to be short Executive Platinum status (100k EQM or 120 EQS) and I'm looking for your help.

What's going to be my most cost effective mileage run via AA to get me over the 100k EQM hump?

thanks Jbeckett! Just realized it's more like 13k to 15k EQM's...

also, what's the quickest way to do this type of search on my own?

Use google.com/flights. In the origination, put DFW (or DFW, TYR) - TYR sometimes is significantly cheaper if you are willing to start there. In the destination, put CGK, BKK, KUL, HKG, TPE (also SIN, but you can only enter five destinations at a time). Choose dates two days apart, like 12/1 and 12/3. Choose American for the airline. Show the fares, then click on the origination date and look at the calendar. Pick a low price and look at the flights, see if they are suitable. You can try PEK, PVG if you have or are willing to get a China visa. Other destinations like NRT, HND, and ICN may not be enough miles for your needs - it is best to get all of the miles that you need in one trip if possible.

Here is HKG from TYR for $641 - you won't find anything cheaper than this.

AA Executive Platinum Challenge

Departure Airport: SFO/SJC/OAK
Miles Needed: 21520
Required Spend or Budget: cheap.
Available Travel Dates: Before Nov 29
Required Metal or Codeshares okay:

My company had a challenge with American Airlines that said fly 35,000 miles in 90 days. I flew a lot but I am still falling short. I have one more work trip hopefully in November to Maine where one way if I fly red eye gets upgraded to biz/first depending on flight.

Other then the Maine trip how am I going to make this gap?!? Help!

SFO-PHX-SAN-LAX-SFO day trip 11/8 is $158, 1401 miles.
OAK-PHX-LAX-NRT-CGK-NRT-LAX-PHX-OAK out 11/15 return 11/17 is $758, 20166 miles. Make sure all flights have AA flight numbers and that your challenge allows code shares marketed by AA.
