Where are you getting the east coast open jaws to price? I've been trying a few OTAs as well as Qantas directly and they're all coming up at $1200+ (incl IAD).

Does anyone knw what the Cheapo-air fee is if one cancels between 4 and 24 hours? I can't seem to find that detail in their maze of fee listings...

Can't find this on anything but Cheapo...

Thanks. After thinking about it a bit more, I'm probably better off booking a cash ticket for the LAX - East Coast segment as then I can get a complimentary EXP upgrade rather than being stuck in economy.

Unfortunately return is sold out and if I choose day earlier then price goes up. I was looking for error fare to add something to my Star Alliance ticket :-)

I got Aug 13-23 on AA 787 on the way out and Qantas on the way back. $210.
Lets hope it sticks fellas. Got reservation code and chose seats on Qantas.

didn't you have to pay to get seats assigned? I think seat assignment showed me $30 AUD per seat.
